Is Love Supposed To Hurt? (AJ/Alex)

Alex kept his head down as he walked out of his computer class, luckily all his teaches so far had failed to notice the bruise on the young man's cheek. Alex still couldn't believe Austin had slapped him, his boyfriend wasn't the nicest guy and he could be careless when he would pull Alex along leaving plenty of bruises on his arms. But he never thought he'd hurt him, he had though and older boy had just laughed it off. Alex eyes teared up slightly as he moved along, not paying any mind to where he was walking.

AJ just wanted to get to class. He wasn't having the best day by any means. Not watching where he was going, he gasped as he bumped in to someone.

Alex let out a surprised noise as he bumped into someone, falling to the floor as he dropped all his books.

"Sorry," said AJ quickly kneeling down to help the other boy gather up his books.

"I-It was my fault..." Alex murmured, keeping his head down and praying the older boy didn't notice.

"No, no, it was mine," said AJ. "Should have been paying more attention."

Alex glanced up at the older boy, forgetting for a moment about his cheek.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine!" Alex answered a little too quickly.

The other boy frowned. "You sure?"

"Y-Yes..." Alex said softly, looking down again.
